Rainy forecasts are usually a huge stressor for couples on their wedding days, but not for Myra & David. Back in October, they had flown in from NYC for their engagement session on a day that was very similar to what we ended up with yesterday. They opted to simply go for it at their engagement session, and we got some of my FAVORITE engagement photos ever. So when it called for rain on their wedding day, we just decided to go for it again. We walked a completely empty Missouri Botanical Gardens in the pouring down rain and got some super romantic portraits, and they even went sans umbrella to end the night!
Myra & David literally let nothing get them down on day one of their marriage, which is my number one hope for my couples. They had fun with their friends and family, soaked up every moment, and didn’t complain once. Not for the rain, not for the bridesmaid who ended up in the hospital with appendicitis, nothing. And it was amazing. I’m SO happy for these two, and I can’t wait to show them the rest of their photos and relive the day with them at their reveal party!
Scroll down for teasers from their big day!
