This time last year, I was a few hours away from St. Louis for Rebecca + Jon’s Elephant Rock State Park and Johnsons Shut Ins engagement session. It’s fitting that today (pending weather) we’re heading down there for Joel + Shannon’s maternity photos! This was one of my favorite sessions last year, and I’m so excited to share it today! I absolutely love that Rebecca chose to wear a gold dress for our second location at Elephant Rock State Park. Clearly, I love gold, but even more so, I love the classic, romantic, dressed-up look that my couples normally opt for when they bring two outfits. I love being able to create images that their grandchildren will look back on and be able to see what they looked like, their style, and how they looked at one another. I really wish I lived closer so that I could do engagement photos at Johnsons Shut Ins and Elephant Rock State Park all the time, but my few trips a year will have to do!
